🚀 BlackRock, the world's largest asset manager, is launching a new fund called the BlackRock USD Institutional Digital Liquidity Fund according to a document filed with the SEC .

There is no information yet on what type of assets the fund will invest in but this step alone suggests that #BlackRock is bullish on tokenized real-world assets.

But what are RWAs ❓

Real-world assets (RWAs) are off-chain assets (physical assets) that can be tokenized and represented on-chain to be used as a source of yield within DeFi.

RWAs will act as a bridge between #crypto and the real world.

👉 The fund will require a minimum investment of $100,000.

The filing also shows that the estimated sales commissions for the fund to be around $525,000.

Data on Etherscan shows that over $100 million of Circle's USDC #stablecoin on the Ethereum network is being moved to an address

This could potentially be a seed #investment into the BlackRock #tokenized investment fund

Tokenization of real-world assets is a promising development that could change the way we invest. It's still early days, but it has the potential to make investing more accessible, efficient, and transparent.

It will be the CATALYST for mainstream Crypto adoption.
